About Census Guide 2027
Census Guide 2027 is a free, independent informational website that helps Indian residents — especially first-time users — understand and complete the Census 2027 Self-Enumeration process online.
Our Purpose
Census 2027 is India's first digital-first census, introducing the Self-Enumeration (SE) portal where households can fill their census data online. While this is a significant step forward, millions of first-time internet users — particularly in rural areas, smaller towns, and among older residents — may find the portal confusing or the questions unclear.
Census Guide 2027 was created to bridge that gap. Our goal is simple: explain every step, every question, and every term in plain, accessible language — available in English, Hindi, and Marathi — so that every Indian household can confidently complete the census.
